Live at the NZ Halal Show 2026!

Join Boonaa Mohammed, Ilyas Mao and Amin Davis for BOYZ IN THE CAVE, a unique live performance combining nasheed, comedy, film and theatre in a story inspired by Surah Al-Kahf.

After losing a major talent show in the '90s, two aspiring Muslim artists retreat to their studio, The Cave, only to wake up 30 years later in a world they barely recognise!

Funny, heartfelt and full of surprises, this family-friendly show explores faith, identity, friendship and the courage to follow your dreams.

All tickets are General Admission with non-allocated seating. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend arriving early to secure your preferred seats.

Doors open at 6:00pm, with the show starting at 6:30pm.

BOYZ IN THE CAVE takes place alongside the NZ Halal Show 2026, New Zealand's biggest celebration of halal living!

Come along earlier in the day and enjoy a huge halal food festival, 50+ exhibitors, shopping, guest speakers, free kids entertainment and much more.

Entry to the NZ Halal Show is completely FREE, with free parking available at Auckland Showgrounds.

Please note that BOYZ IN THE CAVE is a separately ticketed performance. Free entry to the NZ Halal Show does not include admission to BOYZ IN THE CAVE.
